 The luxurious Clayton Franklin Spectacles, handmade in Japan, focus on classic and timeless pieces produced with innovative technology. Clayton Franklin eyewear focuses on intricate details, like sterling silver hinges, self-adjustable temples that distribute temple weight to subtle pressure points, and mechanically attached nosepads that are resistant to weld breakage. The unique acetates are exclusive to the brand. 

 Bill Clayton and Ken Franklin were schoolmates in a small town in England. As children, Clayton and Franklin were teased for their thick, nerdy glasses. Consequently, the pair set out to rejuvenate eyewear and make glasses "cool". Franklin died suddenly from a mysterious illness during production. His partner, Clayton, pledged to finish the mission, finally realizing their dream of Clayton Franklin Spectacles.
